Writing Rules

1. In the Eurasian Journal of Sport Sciences and Education, original studies and compilations made in the field of sports sciences are published.
2. All research to be published in the journal (EJSSE) are written only English.
3. It is necessary for researchers to take the plagiarism reports (15% similarity limit). If a researcher does not submit the plagiarism report to the editors, the report will be taken by the editorial board using the plagiarism program before being sent to the study reviewers.
4. At least two reviewers’ opinion will be taken before the study is published. Studies accepted by the reviewers and approved by the editor in accordance with the scientific content and form are published in the journal.
5. The study to be published in the journal should not have been published in any publications before, or should not have been sent to any journals to be published at the same time. This is completely the author’s responsibility.
6. Primarily, researches should be uploaded to the system via the ejsse.com website by researchers. The studies uploaded to the system are taken to preliminary consideration by the Editor in Chief(s). After the approval of the Editor in Chief(s), the studies are transmitted to the reviewers on the electronically and the studies are published in accordance with the decisions (acceptance / rejection) of the referees and the editors.
7. All studies must be written in Times New Roman font and justified alignment.
8. The title of the study must be written in 14-point and 1 line space in the form of CAPITAL LETTERS.
9. The Abstract heading of the study must be written in starting with capital letters, bold and 12-point. Abstract text must be in 9-point and 1 line space and not exceed 250 words.
10. The keywords of the study must be written in 9-point fonts, italic, starting with capital letters, 3-5 words as shown in the example in the template file on the left side of the abstract section.
11. Text of the study must be written in 12-point and 1,15 space lines.
12. Tables, graphics, shapes etc. must be in 10-point (9-11 point) and must be prepared according to the APA style.

For Title Page
13. Author name / names must be written below the heading of the study in bold, 12-point and central in order and academic title must not be used. Authors' institutions must be written in order and central below their names.
14. E-mail and telephone contacts (preferably) of the responsible writer of the study must be given as a footnote with 9-point at the bottom of the abstract.

15. Study: It must be organized in the form of

INTRODUCTION, METHOD (Research Model, Research Groups/Sampling, Collection of Data, Data Collection Tools (e.g. Personal Information Form, International Physical Activity Questionnaire, Recreational Flow Experience Scale), Ethical Approval, Data/Statistical Analysis), RESULTS, DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION, Limitations and Suggestions. and REFERENCES and title of each chapter must be 12- point (For main title), in bold and capital letter. Also sub-title must be 11-point, only the first letter of the title and bold.

16. The study must be in A4 page format, text length should not exceed 25 pages including figures, graphics and tables.
17. The page margins should be 0.5 cm on the left and right, and 2 cm at the top and bottom.
18. The page numbers must be 10-point in Cambria font below the page and in the middle (The page number must not appear on the first page).
19. The list of references is sorted alphabetically by the first letter of the first author's surname of each study.
20. While giving intertextual reference, more than one studies must be given in alphabetical order. In the display of two or more studies in the same parenthesis, the semicolon is placed between the studies (Hutchins & Rowe, 2009: 120-125; Yıldız & Güzel, 2015: 12-25; Yıldız, 2016)

Giving references: References must be written 10-point in APA style and 1 line spacing.
** It must be shown as "et al." with 3 and more authors in references and intertextual reference.
